You will note there is an overlap in each age band. This is to allow you some freedom of choice and to work with us to place your child where they are best suited. Your child may need to be extended or may appreciate some nurturing in the same level for an extra year to develop budding leadership skills.

 WHAT WILL I LEARN?
To become confident, build self esteem, train in voice, movement, performance. Creative story telling, explore make believe characters, use costume and mask, learn dance, scripts, plays and poems, act out the best children’s literature, film and screen, voice, speech, prepare show items, hone performance skills.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Black leggings, shorts or trousers that are comfortable to move in and a Performance.net top which you purchase when you first book a class.
HOW ARE CLASSES RUN?
With profesionalism and positivity. Our teachers weave their magic with your children by inspiring them to learn. Each lesson is designed with a specific Learning Objective. We are an education based company with years of EDUCATION experience and Qualifications behind us.
HOW MUCH ARE CLASSES?
Auckland Clients
NZ$165 for a full Term - First class: for one Class per week
NZ$120 for a full Term - Second Class*
*Second Class rate is for siblings or if you take more than one class per week.
Sydney Clients
AU$120 for a full Term - Opening 2010 Promotion
HOW DO I PAY?
The Best way is via Internet Banking.
Use your child's full name as a reference.

We do not accept payments at the venues as we like the tutors to be free from administration to weave their magic with the students.
Auckland Clients can use the payments page to pay with a creditcard.

CAN WE TRIAL A CLASS?
There is no need to trail a class. All new enrolments are covered by the Directors Personal Guarentee.
DO WE DO A SHOW?
Yes all children will perform in a showcase in Term 4.
CAN WE JOIN PART WAY THROUGH A TERM?
Yes pro rata classes are $20 per class.
CAN WE STAY AND WATCH THE CLASS?
The first time you introduce your child to us, yes you will want to stay to observe us in action. After that, we encourage you to go and grab a coffee or run some erands. We are a strong education based company and the classes are about the children, the learning objectives and the pedagogy. We find that parents and younger siblings can break the focus and compromise the professionalism.

At The Performance.net we give you 4 consecutive sessions after which time we will graciously refund your money in full if you are not satisfied.
2. CHECK THAT THE DIRECTORS OF THE COMPANY ARE FROM AN EDUCATION BACKGROUND: The people in control of the curriculum and the tutors must understand teaching practice (pedagogy). There are many companys with Directors who have no formal education experience or qualifications. How can they be expected to know what to look for in their tutors when recruiting or with appraisals? At The Performance.net our Directors each have over 20 years experience in top schools as Teachers, Heads of Departments and at the Ministry of Education with assessment and curriculum writing.
3. A PROFESSIONAL SHOW VENUE IS IMPORTANT: At the end of each year the students should be performing in a theatre so that they can experience the magic of the professional stage. This is so important for their confidence and to enhance their performance skill and technique. At The Performance.net our students perform in a professional venue at the end of each year.
4. ENSURE THAT EACH LESSON AND TERM HAS A PURPOSE: If the curriculum has been designed by professional educationalists, each activity will be chosen with an overriding Learning Objective in mind. At The Performance.net our Directors oversee the curriculum, hold Professional Development sessions and appraise the team of tutors regularly.
